Dr Peter Parkes has been with Caringbah Family Practice since 2001. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Sydney in 1998 and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Dr Parkes has special interest in treating musculoskeletal, sports medicine and skin cancer management.
He is team doctor for GWS Giants AFL and VFL teams, and Chief Medical Officer for AFLW. In the past, he has worked for the Western Sydney Wanderers in the A league & Asian Champions League campaigns, and Canberra Raiders in the NRL.
He is also a VMO at the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse Skin Cancer Clinic and assists several orthopaedic and plastic surgeons at Kareena and St George Private Hospitals.
